In the third part of our mystery tour from Poprad to Bratislava we leave the electrified mainline at Vrútky to join a secondary cross country line to Horná Štubňa. For much of the route we pass pleasant farm land set in a wide valley, passing through the occasional small town or village. Mountains can be seen in the distance either side of the train, although we have to wait until the next leg of this journey before we start climbing out of the valley.
