Key West to Ft Pierce aboard a Ranger Tug 21 EC

This video was shot with the experienced mariner in mind. It documents my 222-mile passage from Key West to Ft Pierce aboard what is to my knowledge the smallest production diesel trawler ever produced. Anything smaller would be on the order of a custom Bolger type design.
I have mustered all of my artistic talents in the areas of videography and editing in order to produce an end product that places the viewer as near to actually being there as is possible. The viewer will experience the magnificent wide-open vistas and wildlife of the pristine Florida Keys wilderness in stark contrast to the urban sprawl from Miami northward in the ICW. All underway sequences were shot one-handed since without the benefit of an autopilot the entire voyage was necessarily hand steered. Enjoy the journey! Capt. Joe
