Rodecaster Pro & iPad for Recording Music/Podcasts in GarageBand

Can you connect the Rodecaster Pro to an iPad Pro via USB C? I wanted to find out (the answer is yes) and I also wanted to take it a step further by using the Rodecaster to record multitrack instruments into GarageBand on the iPad. It was a fun and exhausting experiment!
