Day 443 of my Chandigarh to Australia cycling journey turned into one of the toughest days on my bicycle so far.
Heavy rain, muddy roads, no food, and complete exhaustion — but what happened next restored my faith in people once again!

Stuck in the middle of Assam’s monsoon, I found shelter, food, and warmth — thanks to total strangers who opened their hearts to me. This is why I love India and its people so much.
