DIY Jeep Quadra-Lift II Suspension Recharge

Описание к видео DIY Jeep Quadra-Lift II Suspension Recharge

Quick & easy method to recharge your Jeep Quadra-Lift suspension system at home.

PARTS NEEDED:
• Nitrogen cylinder ($150 at local welding supply house, or just rent one.)
•CGA 580 regulator ($60 used on ebay)
•r134 AC charge hose ($15 @ AutoZone)
•Pneumatic hose & fittings/clamps ($20 @ Harbor Freight)

Build your hose by replacing one end with the fitting from the AC recharge hose, as shown in video. Hose clamp a barb between them, hook the other end up to your regulator.

PROCEDURE:
1. Start your engine

2. Open rear driver's side window and put the hose through (you can't change suspension height with door open--see Step 6 below)

3. Purge the air from the hose with nitrogen.

4. Hook the fitting up to the nipple on your Jeep's nitrogen tank (behind & under the rear seat. Nipple is on driver's side. It has a dust cover you'll need to remove. No tools necessary for this step.)

5. Set your regulator to 150 psi and allow the onboard reservoir to fill

6. Not sure if this is necessary, but I run through all suspension heights while the hose is connected.

7. Shut off your cylinder, unhook hose from Jeep, replace dust cap, and you're good to go!
