Vince DiCola's TRAINING MONTAGE (from Rocky IV) recreated

This is my cover / recreation of the Training Montage theme from Rocky IV, originally written by Vince DiCola.
I worked everything out by ear and played all the sounds by hand in Cubase.

I've always been a fan of Vince DiCola's work on the Rocky IV soundtrack, and my re-making of this track was an exercise in appreciation and only further confirmed his genius to me.
It was quite complicated to reproduce with lots of interesting rhythmic and harmonic flourishes to break down.
