How To Strip A Cannondale Headshok & What Issues I Found - Retfurb Vintage Refurb

Описание к видео How To Strip A Cannondale Headshok & What Issues I Found - Retfurb Vintage Refurb

In this quick video we show how to strip down a set of Cannondale Headshok suspension mountain bike forks.
These were removed from an 1996 Cannondale F700, Which we are currently in the process of a project build.
As you will find out, They are not in the best of conditions. Perfectly showing why it is so important to keep on top of servicing these sort of parts.

The Cannondale Headshok was first introduced in 1992. Personally, I think it is a great design. It was made to have less flex than normal suspension forks on the market.
This particular model is a DD-50, which was oil damped with an elastomer.
There are higher end models also available in 1995, Including the Fatty fork.
