Since the Local Government Unit of Baao marked the history of bringing their municipality as the Champion of the recently concluded Kaogma Festival 2023 (a provincial-wide festival of Camarines Sur). It became a source of encouragement for Baaoeños to conduct the first-ever Kamuy-an Festival promoting "happines" on their culture and tradition as well as giving praises to their patron Saint Bartholomew the Apostle.
