How I made my Traveler Tea Books

Supplies Needed

(4) 12x12 Pattern Paper
Elastic Cord
Beads (optional)
Charm w/attachment (optional)

Tools Needed

Paper Cutter
Corner Cutter
Laminator & Laminating Sheet
Score Board w/bone folder
Scissors
1/8” hole punch
Paper Piercer (or whatever you have that will work lol)
Double sided tape
Jewelry tools (optional)

Instructions & Measurements

Cover measurements 6 ¾ x 3 ¾ - Score at 2 7/8 and 3 7/8

Cut Corners and laminate and then cut laminate corners

(3) sheets of 12x12 cut to 11 7/8, turn and cut at 3 7/8 (3 times)

Then you will score each of these at 3/8, 3 1/8, 5 7/8, 6, 8 ¾ and 11 ½ then turn and score whole thing at 3/8. Bone folder each line.

I fold each in half just to make my diagonal cut. (DO NOT make an actual fold)Then cut bottom corners and the inside corners. See video for better explanation.

Put double side tape on outside of flaps and fold into center seam.

Go back to your cover and use your template to place your dots. Then use 1/8” hole punch to punch out your holes. The pierce the center.

Now you can run your elastic through the holes and tie off your elastic. Then cut a 10” piece of elastic for your closure. Add beads if you like. See video for better explanation.

Now you can add your folders and your charm to the outside.
