Want to paint with me?
I'm painting a Termagant (or five) from the Leviathan boxed set for Warhammer 40K with a very simple blue and tan paint scheme to get these on the battlefield but looking good!
Paints Used:
Primer: Citadel Wraithbone Spray
Clean-up: Vallejo Plastic Putty + Water + Citadel Contrast Medium
Carapace: Citadel Contrast Tallasar Blue followed by Citadel Contrast Tallasar Blue/ Citadel Contrast Luxion Purple mix
Flesh: Citadel Contrast Aggaros Dunes; Inner Muscle: Citadel Contrast Aggaros Dunes + Sigvald Burgundy
Eyes: The Army Painter Gemstone Air Metallics
Tongue: Citadel Contrast Fleshtearers Red (or mixed variant) + Citadel Contrast Medium
Talons: Vallejo Surface Primer Gloss Black (two coats)
Hooves: Citadel Contrast Cygor Brown
Teeth: Citadel Base Wraithbone + Citadel Contrast Medium (over Aggaros Dunes)
Stones Termagants stood atop: Seraphim Sepia, then followed by Athonian Camoshade
Base Materials:
Texture: Vallejo Ground Texture Rough Grey Pumice + Cygor Brown + Sigvald Burgundy
Moss and Fallen Plants: Gale Force Nice Meadow Blend Flock + The Army Painter Battlefield Grass Green, followed by Athonian Camoshade
Tufts/Plants: GamersGrass Strong Green Tufts 6mm, GamersGrass Thick Dry Green 12mm, & GamersGrass Laser Plant Dumb Cane (with Cygor Brown dotted in center, covered by Athonian Camoshade, and matted with The Army Painter Anti-shine Matt Varnish)
