Описание к видео VICTOR TYPE 'P' PHONOGRAPH c.1902

Just finished getting a nice Victor Type 'P' phonograph up and running, made about 1902. The Type 'P' was not sold in the regular retail channels, but instead, were sold as 'premiums' that companies could use to reward their people when they made a lot of sales of their products, like sell 20 magazine subscriptions, you get a free Victor phonograph. They were sold in bulk to companies to use as incentives to do good work. It is estimated that about 20,000 of these Type 'P' phonographs were thus distributed.
This model has the early single spring bevel gear motor c.1902.
The tune played is "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU" by Nat Shilkret on Victor 20272. Enjoy!
