Play date with friends and horses 🐴💙👦🏽🐶🥰

It was so much fun watching Thatcher ride his horses. Maybe someday we’ll get to ride side-by-side but right now I’m taking in the little moments of him just wanting to be able to sit up on the horses and move around. Trixie and Nayeli were so good with him and patient and that makes my heart feel good with all the training, love and patience that I had worked with them and continue to do, it has really paid off and it’s showing now!!!! Hard work pays off!!! Working with your horses, and teaching them certain manners is so important from desensitizing them to objects, or just being able to hop on them without them not freaking out or getting nervous in any situations. You have to remember horses are prey animals and they get very easily spooked And move together as a herd. By working with them and teaching them that things are OK and not scary! by doing it with repetition, they learn to overcome that and not to be as fearful or worried by whatever it may be.
