Hey, guys! After what seems like an eternity, Plants vs. Zombies is back! My Graze The Roof remix is currently my most viewed video on the channel, and everyone has been asking for more PvZ remixes. I hope this one matches your expectations, because I think it surpassed the other one.

▾ About this Remix ▾

I had the idea for this remix while I was working on basslines. I created a specific bassline (the one which starts the song) and it reminded me of this track from PvZ. From there, I shaped the whole remix after the bassline, so... you won't be surprised when I tell you this remix is heavily focused on the bass. I'm trying to remix stuff as a way to work on specific elements or instruments, so consider this the Bass Remix™.

Watery Graves is probably my favorite track from the game (though they're all fantastic). It plays during the pool level (which is a pain in the butt). After some remixes as exceptions, we're back with my preferred genre, electro-jazz. I mixed the melody a bit, composed whole new parts based on the general mood and chord progression of the original and I DIDN'T USE THE SAX! Seriously, I managed to compose electro-jazz without a sax. That's kinda amazing. The hardest part, much like my Graze The Roof remix, was to find a way to transition between the original and the new parts. The sound effects from the game help immensely, and I think they fit really well.
