Bachmann "Hogwarts Castle" Express Custom DCC Sound and Lights HO Model Train

The culmination of all of my work on the Bachmann "Hogwart's Castle" Express. I have added extensive extra detail to the locomotive including coaling the tender, converted the locomotive to DCC operation, installed directional lamps, firebox glow, and created a custom sound scape for the locomotive, featuring sounds and music from the movies. John at Youchoos is the mastermind responsible for pulling together my vision collection of sounds and executing them on a high quality Zimo DCC system. Youchoos does amazing things for British model sounds!!

I'll let the finished product speak for itself. I am very happy with how this turned out, and it has been a lot of fun and a good challenge to elevate the humble Bachmann split chassis "toy" into a stunning model train.
