Guest Bio: Hi, my name is Katie Inlay. I grew up in a small town in Iowa, surrounded by the warmth of community, midwest values and the vastness of open skies. At just 17, I found myself drawn into a religious organization called the Alliance of the Two Hearts, which promised a path to enlightenment, vocational calling, healing and connection. After dedicating years to this organization and their teachings, I came to realize that it was a misleading cult. My journey to break free wasn’t just about escaping; it was a profound struggle for my identity and existence. Today, I want to share a fragment of that part of my story with you.

You see, I didn’t merely seek to escape; I fought to truly live—to embrace life in all its complexity and beauty. And that's the essence of what I want to convey. No matter where you are in your journey, no matter how lost or overwhelmed you may feel, you are not alone. There is immense power in your narrative, healing in your voice, and liberation waiting just beyond your fears.

This is my story, yes, but it's also a reflection of yours. We all face moments when we feel disconnected from who we are. I promise you—just as I found my way back, you can too. You can reclaim the life that is rightfully yours, and you can tap into the faith that has quietly been there, waiting for your return.
