Lippan Art using pastel Tone Colors and Pista Shells.

Refer below for tips and common mistakes to avoid when creating Lippan Art, especially with clay.

1. Mark with pencil before starting your art work.
2. First attach circles before sticking internal details
3. Don't mix large amount of clay at a time, take some and roll it. It took more quantity and ended up with dried clay so please don't mix more clay.
4. Take two glasses of water to wash the painting brush before color change so it wont spoil our colors.
5. I used home made Gesso : 4 spoons baby powder + 2 spoons Glue + 2 spoons White Acrylic paint
6. I used home made Varnish to give shinny look : 2 spoons glue + 2 spoons water - based on texture you can add little more
7. Use powder for rolling your clay to avoid sticking to surface and hands.
