Stop Doing THIS and Score More Goals!

Goal Scoring: sounds easy, but in reality, it's getting harder and harder to do. Goalies are getting bigger and better every year, and the game is getting faster. So players, we have to get faster too, especially in the way we get our shots off.
A lot of players, even pros, have the horrible habit of overhandling the puck before getting their shot off in a hockey game. This gives the goalie more time to set up, and defenders more time to check you or getting into the shooting lane for a block.
You MUST start learning to receive the puck softly and quickly get your shots off, WITHOUT stickhandling. It's not a comfortable thing to do, because stickhandling before shooting gives you a better "feel", but if you stop doing it, you're going to score way more goals, guaranteed!
