I intended to change the fluid at 70k. I reminded myself to do it at 80k. Before I knew it, the van was at 100k. Yikes. With heavy towing, the transmission fluid should be changed at 60k miles. With normal operation I believe the recommendation is 120k. It was starting to make a little bit of noise. It needed to be changed. But did I let it go too long?
