Upload users from csv file to Moodle

Uploading bulk users from a csv file can be an easy option when you already know the details of the learners. There are four parameters which are mandatory and the other details can be added as well. Suppose you have a data of users in the form of an excel spreadsheet, you can simply save it as csv (comma delimited) and upload that file to Moodle. Moodle will automatically extract the details from the file and show a preview of data before actually adding a user to the website. Make sure to use the actual keywords as column headings for each parameter that you intend to upload the data for. You can also directly enroll the user into a specific course and define their role from within the csv file so that you do not have to enroll them individually, if you are planning to enroll users manually.
