This first segment, known as "Clash! Beast Warriors", is a "compilation film" made up entirely of clips from the first season of Beast Wars cut together with newly recorded dialogue to form a complete, if disjoined narrative, that summarizes the basic story of the show so far. After defeating the Destrons in a major battle, the Cybertrons attempt to return to Seibertron, but their efforts fail, and they then face destruction at the hands of a mysterious race of aliens, until Convoy sacrifices his life to destroy their orbiting weapon.
