A 29-year-old employee working at a firm in Mumbai's Goregaon has alleged that his female boss repeatedly touches him during file reviews and sits close “trying to tempt,” according to a post on Reddit that has sparked debate on workplace harassment laws.

The man, who joined the company six months ago, wrote that the behaviour began subtly but has now become frequent. “Initially I thought it might be by mistake, but it is now very often… she will randomly touch *ss, thighs, arms, and will sit close trying to tempt… and then laughs or cracks jokes,” he wrote, adding that his boss is married and has children.
He added, “Spoke with colleagues for internal department switch, but they’re like bosses will make life hell if we do internal switches."

The man described his situation as unbearable and asked if he should complain.

The viral Reddit post triggered strong reactions, with several users urging the employee to raise a Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) complaint, while others advised him to be cautious.

You all must have heard about cases where female employees have filed complaints against their male colleagues/bosses under POSH Act even over simple remarks/compliments, terming it as "sexist" or "harrasment".

But what about the male employees? Do they never face harassments from female bosses or colleagues? THEY DO. But either it goes unreported or even if it's reported, no action as such is taking by the management BECAUSE POSH ACT PROTECTS SPECIFICALLY WOMEN ONLY.
