Internal Assessment "IA" Including Tutor Marked Assignment "TMA" in Secondary and Senior Secondary Examination will carry 20% weightage in the External Examination and the marks will be shown separately and added to the marks obtained in the External Theory Examination and Practicals "wherever applicable".

In order to check the progress during the course of study, learner should take up Tutor Marked Assignments "TMAs" seriously. The assignments would be a part of continuous internal assessment and also serve as an academic tool to prompt you to take part in the PCPs and develop rapport between you and the tutors at the Study Centres. There is only one Assignment in each subject. You should submit the assignments on time.

TMA is not Compulsory, its Necessary!!!
