A Typo that Changed History | Crown Headstock 1968 50th Anniversary Reissue Les Paul Goldtop 2018

When the Les Paul was reintroduced in 1968 after being discontinued in 1960 / 1961 - the very first run of Goldtop had crowns on the headstocks. This has been a mystery as to why for nearly 50 years. Today, we learn the turn reason behind why the first run got crowns. It was a typo on a part number!
