**Today we wander out to the Red River Gorge, a designated part of the Daniel Boone National Forest, to explore a hiking trail with family. We wanted to take them on an adventure to explore with us one of our favorite parts of Kentucky. Journey To Creation Falls starts at the Rock Bridge trail head that descend down steep stairs cut into natural stone. We felt this would be easier, the first time we did this trail we finished at this end and regreted it. The Rock Bridge Trail which leads to Creation Falls is rated as easy, is a 1.5 mile loop trail, does have a 257ft evelation gain, an average 4 degree incline and max 10 degree incline. Parts of the trail are paved, at parts the pavement is washed out.
Hiking the Red River Gorge is always an adventure and today didn't disapoint. The kids had fun exploreing, we taught them a bit about "Tred Lightly" & "Leave No Trace" and we were all exhausted at the end of the day.
