What. A. Day!! Today we took a magical detour from Walt Disney World & headed over to Universal’s brand new park, EPIC UNIVERSE & WOW, what an experience it was! 🙌🌍💫
This was a preview day, so we knew there might be a few hiccups (& not just the dragon kind 🐉😉), but we were still beyond excited to explore this stunning new addition to Orlando’s theme park world! And while some things didn’t quite go to plan, we still had a blast experiencing the magic and potential of this soon-to-be ICONIC park. Here’s a breakdown of our day:

🎡 OUR FIRST LOOK AT EPIC UNIVERSE
Stepping into Epic Universe felt like walking into the future of theme parks. The theming is OUT OF THIS WORLD — truly next level! 🪐✨ Each land is so immersive and full of detail, we honestly could have spent the whole day just exploring and taking it all in. From the architecture to the atmosphere, this park is going to be incredible once everything is up and running!

🚀 WE RODE STARDUST RACERS
This dueling coaster is absolutely insane!! 🌠💨 It’s smooth, fast, and packed with thrills - easily one of the best coasters in Orlando. We couldn’t stop screaming and smiling the entire time. A definite must-do for adrenaline lovers once the park fully opens!

🐉 HICCUP’S WING GLIDERS IN HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON LAND
Talk about family-friendly fun! This ride was pure joy. It captures the whimsy of the movies perfectly & you really feel like you’re soaring through the skies of Berk with your favorite dragons. We can already tell this is going to be a fan-favorite for kiddos and grown-ups alike! 🐲💨

🏨 HELLO, HELIOS GRAND HOTEL!
We also stopped by the brand new Helios Grand Hotel, & WOW, it’s giving luxury, it’s giving grandeur, it’s giving ✨Grecian glam✨. Whether you’re a Universal regular or a Disney loyalist, this hotel is going to make waves. The lobby alone is a jaw-dropper!

🍕 LUNCH AT PIZZA MOON
You guys. PIZZA. MOON. 🍕🌙 The name alone deserves a round of applause. We couldn’t resist grabbing lunch here, and it did not disappoint. Think cosmic vibes, delicious pizza, & a great spot to chill in the middle of a busy day of adventuring. Highly recommend!

🧙♂️ HARRY POTTER - MINISTRY OF MAGIC!
We were SO excited to experience the brand new Wizarding World area based on the Ministry of Magic, and even got inside the stunning queue. It’s everything you’d expect from Universal’s Harry Potter lands: immersive, detailed, and full of magic. Unfortunately, the ride went down while we were in line 😢 but even just walking through the Ministry was worth it!

🏰 BACK TO THE GRAND FLORIDIAN
After an adventurous day at Epic Universe, we made our way back home to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort 🛶🌴✨. This is our home base for the week, and we ended our day with some chill vibes, beautiful views of the lagoon, and a whole lot of reflection on how crazy this theme park life is!

💭 OVERALL THOUGHTS
Epic Universe is still finding its feet, but the potential is MASSIVE. We had a mixed day with a few tech hiccups (totally expected for a preview), but we were honestly so impressed with what we saw. We can’t wait to come back when everything is up & running - because this park is going to be a GAME-CHANGER for Orlando! 🙌
