Whether it's a missing factor or a missing divisor, your knowledge of the 6, 7, 8, and 9 times tables will help you solve the mystery.Topics Covered:Solving equations with missing factors ($\text{\_\_\_} \times 7 = 56$)Solving equations with missing divisors ($54 \div \text{\_\_\_} = 6$)Using "Fact Families" to bridge multiplication and divisionApplying mental math for the 6, 7, 8, and 9 tables

🔍 How to Find the Missing Number1. The Missing Factor (Multiplication)When a factor is missing, ask yourself: "What number multiplied by the given factor equals the product?"Example: $\text{\_\_\_} \times 8 = 48$Think: I know $8 \times 6 = 48$.Answer: The missing number is 6.2. The Missing Divisor (Division)When the middle number in division is missing, use multiplication to find it!Example: $63 \div \text{\_\_\_} = 7$Think: $7 \times \text{what} = 63$? I know $7 \times 9 = 63$.Answer: The missing number is 9.

📌 Detective Tip:In a "Fact Family," the same three numbers always work together. If you know $9 \times 7 = 63$, then $63, 9, \text{and } 7$ will always be the parts of that specific math family!
