Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM)

Описание к видео Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM)

A single pair of eyes can only look at so many things at once while driving. It helps to have as much extra coverage for your senses as possible.
Select Kia models now offer Blind-Spot View Monitor, or BVM, that enhances the drivers’ vision by allowing you to see what’s in your blind spot when your turn signal is activated.
Here’s how it works:
When you activate your turn signal, Blind-Spot View Monitor
is designed to display vehicles that are in your blind spot to
the rear and either side of your Kia.
The images are displayed in the center of the instrument
cluster, so they are right in your line of sight.
To turn on BVM, go to User Settings in the Instrument cluster
by pressing the Mode button on the steering wheel.
Then select Driver Assistance…
Blind-Spot Safety…
Blind-Spot view – then press OK.
This system comes in handy when driving on the highway as it
gives you a great view of the lanes on either side of your Kia.
If changing lanes without the turn signal, BVM will not operate… Or another warning screen comes up on the Instrument Cluster.
Kia’s Blind-Spot View Monitor increases driving awareness and enhances safety by giving you a “second pair of eyes”.
