Bike Grand Prix of Belgium 1988 | Big crash for Martin Wimmer and Reggiani

Relive one of the greatest 500cc World Championship showdowns of the 1980s at the drama-filled 1988 Belgian Bike Grand Prix, held at the classic Spa-Francorchamps circuit. However, it was reigning World Champion Wayne Gardner who leapt into first place, his Rothmans Honda leading title rival Eddie Lawson's Marlboro Yahama into the awesome Eau Rouge. Sarron fought back, forcing his way past Lawson and reeling in the hard-charging Gardner.

The leading pair embarked on an epic battle, wrestling with twitching 500cc machines on the wet circuit, heroically battling to control the sliding bikes.
