I am really struggling with the idea of taking a vacation while we are paying off debt. Should we take a vacation or should we wait? Now before you go and get all judgemental on me for even considering it...it is to visit Mauricio's parents that we have not seen in 18 months. It isn't like we are going to the beach or Disney.

The thing is (and I did not mention this in the video) Mauricio's parents can't come visit us unless we pay for it (a flight to the US is about the equivalent of a year's income for them)....so flights plus an additional trip to Bogota to renew their visas gets EXPENSIVE. And since Mauricio's dad does construction, if he leaves his job for more than a couple of days they have to replace him, so he has to wait until the next job comes up....so we wind up supporting them for a month or two. Trust me, it is cheaper for us to go there then have them come see us.

So in this video, I show you the struggle we are going through and how we walk ourselves through to our decision. We are leaving on Sept 20th. We are excited to go to Colombia but I am REALLY stressing about it. But I'm also excited.
