"MC Stompin smashed it! 🎤🐒 For anyone who doesn’t know, I’ve been into Makina music and the sound of The New Monkey and MC Stompin since I was about 11 and so have the majority of people I know in the North East, who are into house and techno! So this was so surreal for me, as this rave scene is still a massive subculture around here, so it was such a buzz to bring some of that to the stage last week. I had so many people asking is to play makina, so I thought because of Covid, I wanted to do something unexpected which resonated with the region, so I kept it a secret, then brought the North East's finest out for 20 minutes and the place went mad!
