This week, Pastor Brandon Gatson continued the Seasons of Love series by exposing one of the greatest threats to walking in God’s love: pride.

Drawing from James 3 and 4, he revealed that bitter envy, comparison, and self-seeking are “sinful inspirations of the devil” that pull us away from God and out of community.

In a season where God is calling us deeper into love—love for Him, for others, and for ourselves in a healthy way—pride becomes the barrier that blocks transformation. You cannot walk in love while living in “self”. And you cannot receive God’s best while your heart is led by your own desires.
