The General Manager of Northern Railway stated, "The long-awaited dream of connecting Kashmir to Kanyakumari is going to be fulfilled soon. The railway lines will be completed by January, marking the completion of this ambitious project. Working in the challenging Himalayan terrain has been demanding, and the project itself posed significant challenges.
For new railway lines, a survey will first be conducted, and then the railway lines will be constructed accordingly. Following the completion of the North-East Railway project, the USBRL project holds significant importance."
