TOMATO DAL RECIPE/tomato pappu in andhra style / & easy tomato dal in pressure cooker// suneetha

INGREDIENTS:

toor dal-150grm
chopped tomatoes-250grm
chopped onion-1 large
chopped fresh corriender-few
tamarind -1 lemon size
turmeric powder-1/2tbs
red chilley powder-2tbs
water-2 glasses
oil-2tbs
popu:
mustard seeds-1/2tbs
cumin seeds-1/2tbs
urad dal-1/4tbs
chana dal-1/2tbs
dry chilley-6
garlic flakes-5-10
taste to salt
curry leaves-few

PREPARATION METHOD:

firstly,take a pressure cooker,add toor dal.
next wash & clean it toor dal with water into 2-3 times.
add,chopped onion,tomatoes,corriender leaves,tamarind,turmeric powder,red chilley powder & 2 glasses of water.
next close the pressure cooker with lid.
now,switch on the stove. heat a pressure cooker with high flame.
next 3 whistles are come,now switch off the flame.
now,open the cooker lid,dal is cooked well.
now add salt & everything mix with use pappu guthhi.
PREPARE POPU(THALIMPU):
take a small kadai & heat with 2 tbs oil,add mustard & ,cumin seeds ,urad dal & chana dal,curry leaves & dry chilley ,garlic flakes,stir it well & cooked with 2 mins,now,add dal mixer,and again mix well.

TASTY & EASY TOMATO DAL IS READY TO EAT.
