1953 Les Paul Standard - Restoring it to Playable Condition - Part 1

Hello folks,
In this video I get started on my latest project, a 1953 Gibson Les Paul Standard previously owned by one of my best friends, Doug Rowell, who passed away almost 2 years ago. This will be a labor of love to honor my friend and allow me to pick up and play a piece of his history. Doug was well known and respected in these parts as one of the North West's premier guitar players. I have a lot planned for this build and I hope you enjoy it as much as I will doing it.
