It's my 1st time ever shooting a bow & it's my 1st bow ever as I am very new to the sport of archery & bow hunting, but eager to learn as much as I possibly can in hopes to eventually teach my newborn son this amazing tradition of archery & ethical hunting practices. So because of being a fan of Joe Rogan's podcast from the very beginning & then later being introduced to Steven Rinella from MeatEaterTV, & then Cameron Hanes & then found John Dudley from the NockOnPodcast, because of all of them combined learned a lot.

So here I am, at my local Pacifica Archery Shop picking up my New HOYT Carbon Defiant 30.5 for the 1st time ever. & you all get to watch my very 1st lesson on the "Basics". Thanks to @RudyTheArcher for taking the time to teach a noob to the sport, & for being patient with me & always answering all my questions, u've been amazing.

My Draw Length is 28.5 inches long,

my bow weighs 3.6 pounds,

my draw weight is set at 58 pounds, but goes up to 65.

7 inch brace height.
