It was Albirex's first game as a fully local club, and while some fans expected a period of adaptation, it was still strangely below-par from them as the Sailors waltzed effortlessly to a 2-0 victory without ever really playing anywhere near to the best of their abilities.

Shawal opened the scoring in the first half with a fantastic goal after a sublime Lestienne pass, and the scoring was complete in the 2nd half when Lestienne converted a penalty after being stamped on by Amy Recha in the box.
