How to Make Chocolate Oreo Mousse

Описание к видео How to Make Chocolate Oreo Mousse

EDIT 7/7/17: I forgot to include that the heavy whipped cream may need a bit of sugar. Whatever kind of sugar you use. Also, I'm sorry about the music, but there's nothing I can do about it. There's always the option to mute it.

I've never posted something like this one my channel before, but I made this the other day and it was so easy and delicious, I really wanted to make a how to on it. So, I present to you a quick little how to videos on making awesome chocolate oreo mousse.

Things you'll need:
-Container to put the mousse/oreos in (I used three 3 oz glass cups)
-A pack of oreos (I used a 14.3oz pack, it's plenty for about 3 cups of mousse)
-A couple of mid sized bowls to mix the chocolate and crush the oreos (unless you want to crush them some other way)
-1 cup of chocolate (I used milk chocolate, but you could also use semisweet)
-2 1/2 cups of heavy whipping cream
-1 tbsp of milk (I used 2% but whatever you have in your fridge is fine...this isn't actually necessary. You can skip this if you want.)
-Reddi Whip (optional)
-A mixer makes life a lot easier
-A microwaveable bowl

Step 1:
Crush up a lot of oreos, a least a row from the pack

Step 2:
Place a layer of oreos at the bottom of your container, and sprinkle the 1 tbsp of milk over them. (Again, the milk part isn't actually necessary.)

Step 3:
Put 1 cup of chocolate in a microwaveable bowl and add 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream to it
Heat it in the microwave for increments of 30 seconds until melted and stir. (I did this 3 times)
Once it's mixed and melted, let it cool at room temperature

Step 4:
Whip 2 cups of heavy whipping cream until peaks form and fold into the room temperature chocolate. (I whipped and folded in 1 cup at a time)
OPTIONAL - Fold in some Reddi Whip. However, the more Reddi Whip you use, the more whipped heavy cream you will have to add to make it back to the right thickness. In this video, I ran out of heavy cream, so I did not add any additional.)

Step 5:
Layer the mousse and oreos to your liking
(the mousee will have more of that "moussey" texture once it cools and the more it cools)

Step 6:
Throw in the fridge to cool for at least 3 hours

Step 7:
OPTIONAL - Finish off with Reddi Whip and oreos
Enjoy your homemade, delicious, decadent, chocolate oreo mousse!
