Cushion remains to be one of the strong aspects of this line - similar to the V4, this model features a combination of Fresh Foam X and FuelCell in the midsole. You get a very bouncy shoe with a smooth transition, and more importantly excellent traction performance on either clean or dusty courts. New Balance seems to have found the sweet spot with their outsole implementation because all their releases this year have amazing traction. For the best fit, go with your true size or normal sneaker size with most other brands. Narrow footers can choose to size down while wide footers may be able to find 2E / 4E versions depending on the location. Compared to their Fresh Foam BB V2, this can be considered a close substitute. While all else are equally as good, the TWO WXY V5 has better stability which requires a significantly less amount of time to get used to.
