She has always been passionate about education and in 2002 she left her job with a multinational agency to follow her two passions, one of writing and the other of teaching . Many of her articles, short stories have been published in reputed newspapers and magazines. To provide quality education to the children and youth who have no access to it, she registered a charitable trust in 2003 named Shrishti Trust. She continues to forge ahead with her mission to create a literate and empowered India by helming the organisation as its CEO.
