Standing proudly at 18 Bialik Street, the Peltzman & Wecht House was built on the site of the former Berlin House. This Bauhaus gem features a 200 m² private garden with unique local vegetation, adding a rare touch of greenery to the heart of the city.

Designed by Eliyahu and Emanuel Friedman, both graduates of the Technion, the building embodies the hallmarks of International Style architecture: rounded balconies, clean lines, and a glass-covered stairwell that enhances its sense of flow and light. Inside, it offered spacious multi-room apartments, setting a new standard for urban living in the 1930s.

This house also holds a special place in the city’s preservation story—it was one of the first buildings restored by the Tel Aviv municipality, securing its place as a landmark of the White City UNESCO heritage.
