Drone footage and community interviews on Galena Street in Milwaukee depicting how Safe Routes to School traffic calming infrastructure making it a great street for youth to ride to Washington Park. The Wisconsin Bike Fed and City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works were awarded a grant to continue the work of connecting child-friendly spaces in our city from the National Center for Safe Routes to School. Students at MPS' Bethune Academy worked with artist CK Ledesma and the Bike Fed's Michael Anderson to generate designs and help paint three blocks of traffic calming infrastructure.
