Avoid using free charging stations in airports, hotels, or shopping centers. Bad actors have figured out ways to use public USB ports to introduce malware and monitoring software onto devices that access these ports. Carry your own charger and USB cord and use an electrical outlet instead.

Use 2 Factor Authentication in your passwords. Two-factor authentication (2FA), sometimes referred to as two-step verification or dual-factor authentication, is a security process in which users provide two different authentication factors to verify themselves.

Using VPN services when connecting with public WiFi. A Virtual Private Network (VPN) establishes a secure connection to the internet by creating a private tunnel through which encrypted data travels safely between your device and the VPN server, making that data unreadable to anyone else.

Never ever trust in the information that comes to you by email or phone. Be sure that YOU CALL or GO in person to the company and confirm for yourself the wire instructions.
