'LUST for LIGHT'- A Documentary on the life & works of the legendary lighting Designer, Kanishka Sen.
This is a humble tribute to the genious, who worked in oblivion, behind the stage, for over more than six decades, enriching the frontier of creative stage and arena lighting. We tried to bring out the essence of the Master to limelight. We are indebted to his daughter Smt. Ina Bharadwaj, for her all out co-operation as the resource person to this project. We are thankful to eminent film director and actor Sri. Kamaleswar Mukherjee to do the narration voiceover for the documentary. We are equally thankful to Sri. Sudip Mridha of Annwesha Music, he is an excellent D.o.P. and editor. We bestow our gratitude to Smt. Sruti Narayan for the effective background score. We are equally indebted to all stalwart personalities of Indian Theatre, with whom Sri. Sen had worked for long, in India and abroad. Their talks revealed different corners of the creative Master. The research, screenplay and direction of the documentary have been executed by artist Indrajit Narayan.
