Spider-Man PS4: Doctor Octopus Final Boss Fight and Ending

The fight begins at 3:38 and ends in less than three minutes minus the final part where Spider-Man and Doctor Octavius do hand to claw combat while glued to the side of the building.


Reminded by Mary Jane that it was Peter Parker’s ideas that helped Otto Octavius build the deadly arms gave Peter the strength and drive to build himself a brand new armored Spider-Man suit to put an end to Doctor Octopus’ reign of terror. After defeating him atop Oscorp Tower, Peter is left with no time to save Aunt May & the many infected with Devil’s Breath simultaneously as there is not enough of the antiserum to do so, so he has to choose to have a tearful farewell with Aunt May. Three months later, New York seems to have mostly recovered and returned back to normal with our two love birds deciding to give their relationship another chance. In the meantime Peter and Miles becomes temporary roommates and before getting settled in Miles reveals to Peter that he has gained spider-like powers, prompting an amused Peter to reveal that he is the Spider-Man.

Now as for tips and tricks to beat Doctor Octopus I find him more manageable while Spider-Man is on the ground and not swinging around. His attacks while on the ground are easily handled by dodging once you see the Spider-sense tingle appear. If you want to go for a tactic more high flying the only dangerous thing you’ll have to worry about are the objects that the Doctor hurls towards you in threes. Once you see the third one pass by shoot the web as quickly as you can and when you see the triangle pop up go in for the attack. That’s all there is to it. Hope that it helps out anyone having troubles getting through it. I only wished that the game would have allowed the player to swap out the Resupply power with something more sillier like the Quip power.
