Chet, a man living at Crow's Perch, needs a witcher. A dragon-like monster lives in the area around and already killed some people. Symko, the son of a killed man, can provide more information and Geralt promises to avenge his father. Following the monster's tracks, Geralt find the cave of some kind of Gorgo, just with more feathers, and names it the Shrieker. Having frightened the monster out of the cave, Geralt get's to keep his word of avenging the father on the fields.
