Possibly the coolest vehicle of the 2023 Tokyo Motor Show was this: the Toyota GR FT-SE, a fully-electric revival of the MR-2 coupe.

This vehicle uses a new Toyota EV platform, gigacasting production techniques and new batteries promising a long cruising range and ultra-rapid charging.

The chief rival for the FT-SE would be the new Porsche 718 Cayman EV.
