One major concern people seem to have about smaller displacement adventure bikes like the CFMOTO Ibex 450 is whether or not they are comfortable and capable for long road trips. Can the Ibex 450 handle a multi-hour road trip comfortably? What about passing power and the ability to climb up and over mountains? How does it do in the twisties?

I set out on a 4 hour CFMOTO Ibex 450 road trip to find out for myself. This trip took me up and over the Santiam Pass and through the Cascade Mountains to Bend, Oregon.

After a quick lunch, I did 2 more hours of CFMOTO Ibex 450 highway riding to get home.

Overall, the Ibex 450 road trip test was a success. It's more comfortable than any dual sport and has plenty of power to get up and go when you need it to without all the extra horsepower that can get you into trouble on a bigger adventure motorcycle.
