Motivation Monday #25 | Small Town Band Survival Guide

What's going on gang! This week we're back with a very important #MotivationMonday video this week! And it's aimed at any of you bands trying to make it out of your small town.

Find A Second Home -1:37
Find the closest bigger city and make it your new second home. Make friends with other bands, promoters, build an audience and fans! More eyes, the better!

Record As Much As Possible - 4:33
You can't advertise yourself if you have nothing to show off! So get yourself some home recording gear, even if it's cheap, and get to work! Being able to record quickly and easily will definitely help when it comes time to record in a bigger studio. A lot of people tend to fall apart as soon as that red light comes on.

D.I.Y. - 7:29
If you don't have any resources at your fingertips, you're gonna have to do it yourself. Is it frustrating, yes. But these skills will always help. Don't just sit around waiting for things to drop in your lap. Sometimes you're gonna have to do them yourself. And that's ok! Every skill is a learnable one!
