My parents took me to Banff years ago, when I was a little baby. Apparently it rained and I cried most of the time haha. I have been wanting to go back for years, but wanted to do it at the right time.

We found the perfect time- In September, right after Labor Day. The weather was perfect, the crowds were gone, and we had so much of the park to ourselves! I love people, but I love experiencing nature without them!

My favorite part of our trip was that we slept in our Rav4 the whole time. It gave us so much flexibility and freedom. We never missed a sunset or a sunrise and we were able to get to some really cool spots, without any crowds.

I'll never forget the 10 days that we slept in our car, practiced "sight words" with our kindergartener and made the best memories. I was 13 weeks pregnant at the time and still throwing up, but "Now is ALWAYS the time to make memories"!
