On Thursday, January 25, 2024, Darien Library welcomed Dr. Ben Powers to share recent findings from research on the role that genes, the brain, and the environment have on students with learning and attention issues. He will also discuss how our growing understanding of those factors can be leveraged to provide better support and outcomes.

About the Presenter
Benjamin Powers, DBA, is a practitioner, researcher, and advocate who works with students with dyslexia and ADHD. He serves as Executive Director of The Southport School and CoLAB. He is a thought leader in the education of students with language-based learning differences, like dyslexia and ADHD.
